Baoji Swimming and
Diving Hall is the key project item of People's Government of Baoji City, and
it is the large-scale public facilities integrated with games and sports
fitness business facilities. Located within Baoji University of Arts and
Sciences of High-tech District, Baoji
City, the project is 171.45m long from east to west,
and is 123.4m wide
from south to north. With one floor of the main body, five on the ground
locally, and one underground, the total building height is of 28.85m, and the total construction
area is of ??26,947.86 m
The
project can be divided into two parts of Diving Hall and Simming Pool. The roof
structure mainly consists of lenticular truss and supported by steel beams. The
longest truss is 59.4m and 8.4m in width and the widest part of fish-belly
shape is 7.332m, with
the main/upper and lower chord all circular tubes. The project was awarded Gold
Award of China Steel Structure and high-quality structural engineering award of
Shaanxi Province and the provincial civilized
construction site.
